No single person, let alone a state, wants to burn hands on the situation in darfur. The media is not interested in the subject, because they can only think of getting as much viewers as possible. Therefore people do not care, because they do not know.
Darfur does not need money. They need a helping hand.

Sometimes it is better not to think of politics at all. The world is so complicated and thinking of this complexity makes me sometimes feel so helpless (Africa, Middle-East, but also the fragmentation in our own society and the conflict Western World vs. Islam). But not thinking about it, will not solve problems. Aristoteles once said one has to find the ‘proper middle road’. That is easy to say when there is no globalisation.
“I was walking along a path with two friends—the sun was setting—suddenly the sky turned blood red—I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence—there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city—my friends walked on, and I stood there trembling with anxiety—and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.”
