the Scream

Sometimes it is better not to think of politics at all. The world is so complicated and thinking of this complexity makes me sometimes feel so helpless (Africa, Middle-East, but also the fragmentation in our own society and the conflict Western World vs. Islam). But not thinking about it, will not solve problems. Aristoteles once said one has to find the ‘proper middle road’. That is easy to say when there is no globalisation.

“I was walking along a path with two friends—the sun was setting—suddenly the sky turned blood red—I paused, feeling exhausted, and leaned on the fence—there was blood and tongues of fire above the blue-black fjord and the city—my friends walked on, and I stood there trembling with anxiety—and I sensed an infinite scream passing through nature.”

the Inspiring of Chez Guevara

It is interesting to see how a simple picture of a man can turn into a symbol of revolution and freedom. Also in my surrounding, people wear t-shirts with the head of Chez on their chests. Why is that? It shows people are very sensitive for liking things which they recognize unconsciouss, I think. The picture is so familiar nowadays, that people, even when then don’t know who he is or what he did, will buy a cup, a t-shirt or a postcard with his head on it. What they don’t know is that he himself killed many people for his ideals. History was faithfull to Chez.

(In Cuba they still use the person Chez for communist propaganda; at the 4th of october there was a remembrance of him being death for 40 years and in schools childeren still learn they should fight like Chez: “Good morning! We shall study, grow up and fight like Chez! We shall be like Chez!” )
